Low Carb Barbeque Sauces

Here's a list of Low CarbBarbeque Sauces that you can make yourself. I've tried and like them all.

Tangy BBQ Sauce
1 stick butter
1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1/2 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon mustard
1 dash red pepper
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
4 teaspoons Sugar Substitute
Directions:
  1. Melt butter, add vinegar and other ingredients. Stir until well blended.
  2. Bring to a boil, and lower heat.
  3. Let simmer for a few minutes.
Carbs: Less than 1g Tbsp
Lauri's BBQ Sauce
8 oz tomato sauce
1 slice bacon, diced
1 tbsp onion, minced fine (flakes)
1 garlic clove
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp white wine viegar
4 tsp. Sugar Substitute
1/2 tsp. Liquid Barbecue Smoke
pinch clove, ground
Tabasco sauce, to taste
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions:
  1. Place diced bacon in a sauce pan on high heat.
  2. Mince onion & garlic while bacon cooks
  3. When bacon begins to brown, add the onion and garlic.
  4. Cook until slightly browned.
  5. Add all remaining ingredients.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to low and simmer 30 minutes.
Makes a little over 1 cup, each serving is 3 tbsp (3.8 carbs)


Low-Carb BBQ Sauce
1 10.7 oz can tomato puree 21.4g
1 10.7 oz can water 0g
OR
1 small can tomato paste 25g
1 cup water 0g
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce 4g
8 tsp All Spice 4g
2 tbsp cider vinegar 1.77g
2 tbsp liquid smoke 0g
1/2 tsp garlic powder 1.02g
1/2 tsp onion salt 0g
1/4 tsp paprika .3g
1/2 tsp dry mustard 0g
1 tsp chili powder 1.42g
1/2 tsp cayenne .51g
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
Warm until blended. That's it!
Total carbs 26.5g, 1.76g per tablespoon
Sweet BBQ Sauce
1 cup tomato sauce
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. Brown Sugar Twin
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. liquid smoke
6 tsp. Sugar Substitute
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
Total Carb ~15g (Less than 1g per Tbsp.)
Comments
Sugar Substitute: Do NOT use NutraSweet!
It breaks down when its cooked. Use a saccharin based sweetener.
