LEMON & DILL VEGETABLE GLAZE
- 1 Tbsp. BUTTER
- 3 Tbsp. BROWN SUGAR SUBSTITUTE
- 1 tsp. CORNSTARCH
- 1/2. finely shredded LEMON PEEL
- 3 Tbsp. LEMON JUICE
- 1/2 tsp. dried DILLWEED (or 2 tsp. minced fresh DILL)
- 1/4 cup WATER
- 1/4 tsp. SALT
- 1/8 tsp. PEPPER
- In a small saucepan, melt the BUTTER
- Stir in the BROWN SUGAR and CORNSTARCH
- Stir in the LEMON PEEL, LEMON JUICE, DILL, WATER, SALT, and PEPPER
- Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly
- Pour over vegetables just while still cooking but before they are done
