Prime Rib Roast

PERFECT Prime Rib every time!

This is the ONLY way I cook it! It's too simple to pass up and the result is delicious!

It can't be stressed enough that the roast must be completely at ROOM TEMPERATURE before cooking.

Here's the secret...Cook the roast at 500° for 5 minutes for each pound, then turn the oven OFF and leave the roast in for 2 hours without opening the oven door!

INGREDIENTS
Perfect Prim Rib Roast
DIRECTIONS
  1. Set the Prime Rib Roast out for about an hour to bring it to room temperature (You don't cook "cold" protien!)
  2. Preheat the oven to 500°
  3. Mix all the other incredients in a small bowl
  4. Microwave mixture just long enough to melt the butter, then stir the mixture well
  5. Coat the roast completely with the mixture
  6. Here's the cooking formula: Multiple the exact weight times 5 minutes
For me this was 5.75 x 5 = 28.75 minutes, rounded up to 29 minutes
  7. Cook the room temperature roast at 500° for the time calculated
  8. Then, turn the overn OFF and wait 2 hours without opening the over door!
  9. When the 2 hours is up, pull the roast out and it will be done to a perfect meduim-rare!
  10. Slice, serve, ENJOY!
